Flight Activity Types
The "Flight Activity Types" define what kind of operations are available as movement, as well as which articles may be charged. An unlimited number of flight activity types may be defined, and will appear only if certain conditions are met, for example the aircraft type is one of the accepted one, or if the current member has the required role.
If an aircraft type is defined, then only those aircrafts will be able to use this flight activity type, otherwise all aircraft types can use it. Keep in mind that a specific aircraft can still prevent an flight activity type to appear if its list is more restrictive.
The field "Override Member" will ensure that the billing will be done toward the specified member and not to the one doing the activity. For example Sightseeing may be charged to the airport instead of the pilot.
The list of linked articles is the key to which articles can be charged, and the VAT can be overridden in that activity type. For example in Switzerland schooling doesn't charge VAT.
The activity is not available to the aircraft
Check the following
- A "Required Aircraft Type" prevents this activity type to be displayed
- A "Role" prevents this activity type to be displayed
- If the currently used "Aircraft Type" is used on another flight activity type, then only those flight activity types with the current aircraft type will be displayed.
